Meet Grace Gutiérrez
Founder & Hair Artist | Inwood Hair Studio
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Grace Gutiérrez has dedicated over 20 years to the art of hairstyling, building her career through professional training, hands-on experience, and a genuine passion for helping people look and feel their best.
More than 12 years ago, she founded Inwood Hair Studio in Inwood, Manhattan, where she owned and operated a storefront salon for 10 years, building lasting relationships with clients and becoming part of the local community.
Her journey later took her to Texas, where she began a different chapter of her life. Eventually, her path led her back to New York and to the neighborhood where her business story began.
Today, Grace is delighted to welcome clients back to Inwood Hair Studio, now reimagined as a private, appointment-only studio offering a more personal and relaxing experience.
For Grace, returning to Inwood is more than reopening a business. It's about reconnecting with a community she loves, continuing the work she's passionate about, and embracing whatever the future may bring.
